Jason Bird

Lincolnshire born and raised , Jay is the owner of Jay’s Inks. The self taught artist started tattooing 10 years ago, where he began working at the coast, carrying out all different styles before moving to Lincoln and specialising in portraiture and realism , in both colour and black and grey.

Jays Art

Jay worked as a bricklayer for many years to provide for his eldest daughter, but he couldn’t ignore his passion for arts. Despite being advised against it, he decided his dream was worth the risks and opened his own studio.

To better his art and tattoo work, he draws and paints as often as possible. His work is available in print and on merch in our shop.

About Jay

Jason has won many international awards. Completely dedicated to his art – on both skin or canvas – he continually pushes himself to learn more and perfect his craft. Jay is a seasoned tattoo artist, well-established in his community. He takes great pride in making sure his clients are more than satisfied. He regularly attends international arts and tattoo seminars held by his respected peers. He enjoys travelling, working conventions and doing guest spots across the UK, in Europe and around the world – notably a month-long trip to China. In his limited spare time, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, painting and watching movies. He’s also into fitness and everything that keeps his blood pumping. He loves learning new stuff and expanding his already-vast knowledge. If you’re in need of a pub quiz teammate, he’s your man!

Appointments

Jay has diary openings roughly every three months and there is usually a wait of six to nine months. Find out Jay’s availability on social media or get in touch. When the diary is closed, you can ask for your name to be added to the waiting list so we can notify you if extra spaces become available.
